How To: Ground Beef Two ways
Ground beef two ways for your next pre-chore meal prep! This pre-chore meal prep helps you make dinner time easier, and delicious with cheeseburger salads and cheeseburger quesadillas.
Make your meal time post-chores easy with this pre-chore meal prep. I simply make the beef ahead of time and assemble my meals when we get home.
Cheeseburger salads + Cheeseburger quesadillas
INGREDIENTS
1lb of ground beef
1/4 cup Ketchup
2 TBS BBQ sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
Chopped romain or green leaf lettuce
Diced tomato
Diced dill pickles
Shredded cheddar
Tortillas
INSTRUCTIONS:
Salads:
Brown ground beef and mix in ketchup, bbq sauce and onion powder. Pile some chopped lettuce on each plate. Pile on a good quantity of the meat mixture, then top with plenty of grated Cheddar. Add diced tomato, chunks of pickles and any other toppings you’d like. Serve immediately.
Quesadillas:
Brown ground beef and mix in ketchup, bbq sauce and onion powder. Grab a tortilla and add to greases skillet. , add to skillet. Top half the tortilla with ½ cup cheese, ¼ of the cooked beef. Top with pickle slices,more cheese and top with a tortilla. Cook until cheese is melted and the tortilla is golden brown on one side, about 2 minutes.
Flip quesadilla and continue cooking until all the cheese is melted and the second side is golden brown. Slice and serve.
